ROCK ISLAND COUNTY AND SCOTT COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATIONS
WOMEN’S BAR COMMITTEE
SEPTEMBER 29, 2016
- 5:00–7:00 p.m. Wine Social at the Grape Life
We are looking to reinvigorate the Women’s Bar Committee. Although the September event is planned as a social event, we will be asking for topic suggestions for future meetings at the event. As a committee, we want to ensure we are continuing to provide relevant discussion and presentation topics. Please come prepared with your ideas!
We will have an open bar for the first $400 in wine. We will also have appetizers.
OVERVIEW OF THE WOMEN’S BAR COMMITTEE
We meet four times a year, typically during lunch. Our goal is two-fold with these luncheons: (1) to discuss relevant legal and workplace issues affecting women attorneys; and (2) to inspire women in their practice of law.
Mark your calendars now for our future luncheons:
- Thursday, December 1, 2016 (IL)
- Thursday, February 16, 2017 (IA)
- Thursday, May 25, 2017 (IL)
Please feel free to e-mail Kelsey Marquard at firstname.lastname@example.org or Sarah Gorham at email@example.com with any ideas for future luncheon topics, to sign up for the Women’s Bar Committee, or if you have any questions or comments.
